A Covid-Counter Opinion...

2020 is certainly changed

The arrival of Covid-19 has forever changed the landscape of this year.  All the plans, goal-setting, targets and milestones we planned to set seems particularly unlikely for so many people.  I know many aspects of my post-it note plan have gone by the way side.  How about you?  If you spend any time on social media then you know there are largely three camps of people posting:

Camp #1:  The Panickers.
This group of people post the worst-case scenario always and fuels our fear about pretty much everything encouraging us all to stay in our bubbles.

Camp #2:  The Dis-believers
This group of people are all about the conspiracy theories telling us to believe no one (except them) and get back out there and work.

And Camp #3:  The Motivators
This group of people constantly remind us that this is a great opportunity to grow, learn, create and RISE up and to do otherwise is pretty pathetic.

And to that I say...join Camp #4:  The Noticers
The Noticers spend their time observing.  They look for a variety of information sources and then they check in on which resonnates best with them.  The notice all the things they could be doing and then they check in to see what band-width they actually have for anything new.  They notice all the stress they feel and they look for ways to nurture themselves not add to it.  The noticers are moving slow and choosing to be mindful.  Noticing everything and choosing to do only what serves them even if that is nothing.  Guilt-free!

I would love to know how YOU are doing. Feel free to reach and connect. I would love to hear from you.
