Do you ever order stuff you aren’t using?

Today I am listening to a training I signed up for
FOUR weeks ago.
When I first enrolled in this course
I was so inspired to learn from this teacher.
But then the first call I was not able to make
and then I also did not make the second
and before I knew it
I was feeling waaaaaay behind.
Ever been there?
Now when this happens we can do one of 3 things:
- judge and berate thyself “you are such a loser” type self-talk
- give up on it altogether “what is the point now?” or
- jump back in.
Truth be told, I began with 1 and 2
before I finally committed to number 3 – jumping back in.
And no shocker here, now that I am actually listening to it,
I am – of course – inspired!
So what about you?
Maybe you have some program or book you ordered
that is collecting a bit of dust.
You meant to dive into it, but for whatever (‘good’ or ‘bad’) reason
you haven’t.
So here is my coaches invitation:
Pick 1 hour in the next week
(remember we all have 24 to choose from)
and crack it open.
Start using the thing you paid for, ordered or got for a reason.
Not because you should (“ouch!”)
but because you know it would serve you.
From ‘meaning to’ to making it happen,
Beth

I can totally relate! I have a set of inspirational DVDs that I bought and I have never listened to them. One of the reasons is that I felt so guilty about paying so much money for the system. But you are absolutely right, if I were to just start watching them I would probably get very inspired. Funny how our minds work against us sometimes isn’t it? Thanks for the motivation!
