Are you out of alignment?

A friend of mine is very spiritual.
She comes from a long line of women
who believe that connection to the spiritual realm
is not only ‘good for you’
but frankly essential to your success. She claims that when we are not ‘in the flow’
and things just are not gong our way
we are likely “out of alignment”.

In lay-people-non-woo-woo terms
this means we are trying to do it all our self
without any help from our best resource.

She is my featured guest in the inspired speaker series.

One thing to do on summer solstice…

Well it’s here at last.
The longest day of the year.

Summer solstice.

And according to celtic legend about summer solstice
it is a great day for making wishes.

Here is my coaches invitation:

Step outside today and drink in the sun.
(even if it behind some clouds, trust it is there!).

Imagine that the light of the longest day
could bring the energy you need
to the thing you most desire.

A relationship that could use mending.
A situation that is stressful.
A challenge you have not yet found the answer to.

Make a wish into the summer solstice today
and imagine the energy of this long day
had the power to influence
new outcomes for you this season.

And if you really want to activate things,
share your wish with me.

To summer and other good things,

A word about perfection…

Have you ever felt disappointed?
How about kind of crabby about how things turned out?
Ever wondered when life was going to be a bit more perfect?

What if I told you it already is.

Today I received an ezine from one of my favorite people
Andrea Lee.

And she featured some gems from one of her favorite people
Thomas Leonard
and so, thanks to Andrea
I am passing them on to you today.

May this top ten serve you.

THE ZEN OF PERFECT

1.   What is, is perfect.
And, you can perfect it.

2.  What isn’t perfect, is perfect.
Because there is something to learn.

3.  You are perfect.
Even when you are not.

4. Others are perfect.
Especially when they are not.

5.  Life is perfect.
But only when you see that it is.

6.  Weaknesses are perfect.
Their perfection is simply unrecognized.

7.  Your strengths are perfect.
So, continue to perfect them.

8.  What already is perfect is perfect.
Leave it alone.

9.  Tragedies are perfect.
We just can’t see the perfection, yet.

10.  Perfect is perfect.
Make perfect an art form.

To using everything,
Beth

Do you ever order stuff you aren’t using?

Today I am listening to a training I signed up for
FOUR weeks ago.

When I first enrolled in this course
I was so inspired to learn from this teacher.
But then the first call I was not able to make
and then I also did not make the second
and before I knew it
I was feeling waaaaaay behind.

Ever been there?

Now when this happens we can do one of 3 things:

  1. judge and berate thyself “you are such a loser” type self-talk
  2. give up on it altogether “what is the point now?” or
  3. jump back in.

Truth be told, I began with 1 and 2
before I finally committed to number 3 – jumping back in.

And no shocker here, now that I am actually listening to it,
I am – of course – inspired!

So what about you?
Maybe you have some program or book you ordered
that is collecting a bit of dust.
You meant to dive into it, but for whatever (‘good’ or ‘bad’) reason
you haven’t.

So here is my coaches invitation:

Pick 1 hour in the next week
(remember we all have 24 to choose from)
and crack it open.

Start using the thing you paid for, ordered or got for a reason.

Not because you should (“ouch!”)
but because you know it would serve you.

From ‘meaning to’ to making it happen,
Beth
