Meet David Wood up close and personal next Monday…

I am still amazed how far technology has expanded my world.

For example I cannot recall how I looked things up before Google.
Facebook has allowed me to be ‘friends’ with people I would not normally meet.
And Twitter makes it possible for famous, infamous and almost famous people to all hang out in the same space.

Amazing.

So let’s see how many of us can connect next week!

My goal this year is to reach 1000’s.
Not in the somewhat cliche make-a-difference kind of way but in the create lasting impact kind of way.

It is in this spirit, that I launched my inspired speaker series
where every month I connect a
visionary,
leader,
mover,
shaker or
mentor of mine
with you.

Next week I interview David Wood where I am hoping he will share how to go from good and great and STAY there.

Because anyone can be a flash in the pan.
A burst of brilliance.
But not everyone sustains their greatness.

Yet David Wood does.

So join me next Monday and get the scoop first hand!

When you make it to day 20…

When I first started this cleanse the longest I had ever stayed on a cleanse was 10 days.
Each time I have done a cleanse before it was because I felt lousy or fat or fat and lousy.
This cleanse I committed to because of three reasons:

Because it was 30 days and I was curious what that length would be like.
Because it was paired with having feradic wavelength treatments to really move my lymph.
And it was an opportunity to create a coaching program for others to stay with it and use the momentum post cleanse to transform all areas of their life.

Now on the home stretch of this I have to say, I had no idea how hard it would be
or how many things I experienced that I unexpected.

For example it has changed my relationship with the GROCERY store. I now shop on the outside aisles only and I realize how before I shopped waaaaaaay more in the processed food isles.

It has also changed WHY I choose the food I eat. When I am feeling like caving to my major sugar craving I think “do I want to give my parasites some food?” Nope.

I have a ton of ENERGY. I do not feel any changes in my energy throughout the day. No nap attacks. No 3:30 in the afternoon bonks. I do not even feel tired at 10:00pm!

I have also lost 4 lbs. (I only started it at 120 lbs so that was not a goal) Unfortunately you do not get to pick WHERE you loose weight so I am pretty sure 3 and 1/2 of those pounds were from my chest! (Not my first choice….)

The downsides?
Quite a few headaches.
Lots of crazy dream and interrupted sleep.
And I miss bread!

I am looking forward to seeing what the end feels like.

Wat I have appreciated is the support. Revive (the wellness centre sponsoring this cleanse) is incredible. 3 times a week they check in with me, encourage me, give me recipes to try and generally monitor every aspect of this cleanse – my sleep, my mood, my food, my weight and most of all my wellness.

And this is likely the best part of all. Because not matter what new thing you might try, it makes all the difference having support to keep going where you normally would quit.

To finish lines,
b

Is that off the sale or regular price?

A little while back I asked you, my awesome reader,if you had some great questions that help you get unstuck, inspired or you find just plain old useful.

THANK YOU for sending in some really good ones.
Because of you we all get to benefit.
One more reason to be a part of a great community.
In no particular order…here are the top 10!
  1. How did I ATTRACT this?
  2. Is this in my GENIUS?
  3. How can this situation SERVE me?
  4. What is one thing I can do TODAY?
  5. What am I willing to say YES (and NO) to?
  6. Is this decision aligned with my highest VALUES?
  7. How can I respect the need to have patience and ENJOY the journey more while working on the goal?
  8. Am I HAPPY?
  9. Do I LOVE doing this?
  10. And my personal favorite…is that 70% off the last sale price or the regular price? :-)

Try them on the next time you find yourself in a pickle

and could use a good question to shift from stuck to not-so-much.
Remember the quality of your questions determine the quality of your answers.
Ask the best ones you can.
To your genius,

What I loved about Avatar…

Slightly behind the other cagillion people on the planet who have taken in James Cameron’s Avatar we finally got to see it last night.
In a word, wow.
I simply LOVED the message of love and honouring of all life.
So in the spirit of “I see you
may today find you “seeing” people
through all their facades, behaviors and actions
and appreciate who they really are.
As for me, I see you.
Thank you for being a part of my little world.
Happy Valentine’s Day!

There is hope to make Valentine's day more "love"ly…

It’s February…

Ahhh….Valentine’s Day.

This little hallmark holiday
somehow has the ability to wreak haov

Will someone be my Valentine?
Will the Valentine I have make it special?
I love this holiday!
I hate it!

A week of cleansing…

Okay it has been a week since I started the Revive cleanse.

A week where I to am to replace coffee, alcohol, refined sugar, wheat, vinegar, dairy and pretty much every other fav food of mine and insert lemon water, fruit, soup, salad, brown rice and protein.

This is what I learned so far…
It is not easy.
I am really crabby.
I have crazy interrupted sleep.
Almost impossible to follow when on a road trip.
I feel utterly deprived and cannot imagine sticking with this for 3 more weeks.

Perhaps this is just the ‘hump’ before nirvana sets in
but today as I sip my warm lemon water and dream of toast,
I wait for it to arrive.

The bright side is I DO trust that something can always be learned
from everything so stay tuned as I mine the gems from the black hole of cleansing.

To digging deep,
b

Day 1 of cleanse

Lose Weight.
Stop Smoking.
Start exercising.
Get organized.
Be better at something.

All good intentions that we all seem to fall prey to
at the beginning of the year.

How is that going for you?

I decided to wait until February until I was crystal clear
about what I wanted to commit to.

And so here I am starting a 30 day cleanse today

(the longest I have ever attempted by the way_

to clear my mind,
my body and
my soul
of all it that could use a little cleansing.

I would write out the list of things I am not allowed to eat
but that would take too long
plus it would send me into a spiral of deprivation thinking
and I might bail before I begin

suffice is to say EVERY single one of my fav foods
along with a few vices are out of bounds for a month.

Do I worry I might “cheat” or “fall off the “wagon”?
Absolutely.

Which is why I am going public.
Peer pressure works for me!

May today, the first of the month,
find you diving into something
that brings you closer to where you want to BE.

To beginnings,
b
