Have you been putting off anything?

Today I had a mammogram.
No real biggee.
Except that I have been meaning to have one for awhile.
Like 2 years.

And so I had stood there having a perfect stranger
compress my breast
a thought occurred to me.

“It is so easy to avoid stuff when doing it is really
not as difficult as I make it out to be”.

Not exactly earth shattering insight I know.
But here is the rub.

I also avoid dentist and technology the same way.
I get myself all worked up into a semi-frenzy over…
almost nothing when it comes right down to it.

So what would be a mammogram share without a little invitation? ;-)

“What have YOU been avoiding?”

Your health? Your garage? Your clutter? Your teeth? Your life?
I invite you to pick this week to cross something
you have been avoiding off your list.
It feels great!

Speaking of feeling great, this is the LAST week
to jump into the BLISS coaching program.

So if you have been sitting on the fence
thinking it would be so great this year to have a
mentor, a group and wild support you could count on
and one you could also afford
you can.

For just $297 a month.
(you can thank your goddess sisters for this price point!)

Email me directly if you want one of the two spots left
to get your bliss ball rolling mindsetcoaching@gmail.com

To steps that make a difference,
b

Are you a fan of action or perfection?

Okay, so last week I had the bright idea of asking you
how I can serve you better.

So I created a little survey.
Added a little gift for motivation.
Pressed send…and felt great!

Then my assistant emailed me.
“Ummm…Beth, how are you going to send people their gift
when the survey replies are anonymous?”

Uh oh. Excellent point!

So thanks to her, we (and I use the ‘we’ very loosely!)
have created a page for you to go and claim your gift.

Problem solved!
Didn’t complete the survey?

You still can!
It is on the link too.

(I hope you pop over because I have to say the BLISS poster
that came from my brain to Kendra’s and back again is GORGEOUS!)
The perfect thing to keep you on track this year.

Remember, inspired action always trumps perfection. ;-)

Speaking of inspired action, if you are still wondering
if being part of a coaching group is going to propel you to your BLISS
watch for one last chance on January 25th to be
one of the goddesses unleashing her greatness this year with me.

If this speaks to you, join me for for ‘lunch’ a week from Monday….

To bliss and going big,

are you a closet writer?

A friend of mine recently started blogging.
Personally, I think a writer lies in all of us. Yes, some people just have ‘a way with word’s for sure but I love blogs because stories get ‘published’ that might normally not.
What is yours?
Because whether you write a blog, an ezine, a book, journal or just email people chances are you have something to say. Herein lies the heart of this. The story that lies in you can do one of the three things:
1. Keep you trapped in the past
or
2. Keep you stuck in the present
or
3. Propel you into a new future.
You see it is not the story itself that has the power but the meaning we give whatever story we have rattling inside of us and we will not know what that meaning is until we let our stories out.
To give you some inspiration, here is the blog link to my friends (old) story
I hope it will inspire you to write YOURS down because I am committed to re-writing a few stories that lie in me and helping anybody else who wants to do the same.
To coming out of the (writing) closet,
Beth

What I learned in yoga today…

Happy New Year!
So I found myself at yoga today.
It seemed like such a great way to start the year.
That is until I got there.
I find myself quite unable to find my center
and instead focused on things like…
how dizzy I was upside-down
how tight my hamstrings felt
how my stomach looked in downward dog position and
how I regretted not positioning my mat closer to an escape exit.
*sigh*
But somehow after all my inner chatter died down
a distinctly positive one bubbled up.
At least I am here.
And while my lack of disciplined yoga practice
was painfully evident in every pose
I simple took it in as this is where I am today.
Tight, inflexible but willing.
A good place to start (again).
What about you?
Here is my coaches invitation:
Think of what or where you want to go in 2010.
Now consider where you are today.
Then take one move forward.
A yoga class.
An action.
A step ahead.
You will be amazed at where it will take you!
To new beginnings,
