I am going to get right into the question that I normally end my ezines with:
“Is your relationship sustainable?”
I invite you to think of your current intimate relationship.
Yes, this question is for couples.
Whether your relationship is new (hot and sexy)
not-so-new (and perhaps a bit stagnant)
or on the verge of not being at all (struggling)
I ask you:
Is your relationship sustainable?
If your answer is yes, then have a great weekend. :-)
If however, your answer is no,
then you may want to keep reading.
Consider this your official invitation to spend the weekend with
not one, but two coaches:
the author of The One-Minute Goddess,
Jean-Pierre LeBlanc (thealchemynetwork.com)
and me to create an extraordinary relationship that stands the test of time.
We are joining our collective wisdom and teachings (again!) to bring you:
“The Sustainable Relationship”
A Weekend for Making Love LAST
(even if you have added kids, pets, plants or problems to the mix!)
Just take a moment and consider what it would mean if you could…
- Truly understand and appreciate your parter (even when their being kind of human)
- Create instant connection in simple ways that are easy and fun.
- Have the tools to stop any argument before it ‘gets ugly’.
- Confidently give your partner exactly what they need
- plus know how to ask for yours.
- Handle any old pain, wounds and hurts once and for all.
- Take home a proven road map to get your relationship from where it is to where you want it to go (and stay there)
And, of course, live happily ever after.
You already know if this is for you.
If it is, I hope you join me and Jean-Pierre
on November 21st and 22nd, 2009
in Deep Cove, BC (Vancouver, Canada)
for an extraordinary weekend.
Your investment depends on the speed of your yes: ;-)
Early birds (always rewarded for taking decisive action) – $857.00 – Until Nov 6
Mull it overs (available until sold out or up to event date) – $957.00 – Nov 6-Nov 21

I am back from San Diego.
And this past weekend I committed to a mastermind program
that caused me to seriously pause when I heard the investment.
I can’t tell you the exact number because my mother reads my ezine and I do not want her to have a heart attack. (Hi Mom!)
Suffice is to say it was a big investment.
Yet I said “I’m in”.
And do you know why?
Not because of the course content
(although it looks awesome).
Not because of who the course is led by
(although I love the idea of being a dot on her radar).
Nope.
Because in saying yes, I joined a team of people as “in” as me.
The truth is, it is one thing to commit taking my business to a whole other level.
And quite another to walk alongside of group of other people committed to theirs
and who are wiling to share their gifts for mine.
How can I lose?
Of course I know it is ultimate up to me
and my willingness to be used by God,
but a little inspired group of friends as invested as me never hurt.
So this is my question:
How much do you invest in yourself?
I do not know about you, but when I invest a little, I commit a little.
My results?
No surprise, little.
Not next year!
I am going BIG.
How about you?
To shaking things up,

The survey results are still coming in…
It is one thing to have what I think is my impact on you
*and*
quite another to read your words.
I have received responses from people I love, know and those I have never met.
I remain moved, humbled and grateful.
Thank you for taking the time to reflect on what I do (for you).
If you missed my Friday question, you can still leave your thoughts at:

As I write to you today, I am getting ready to leave for San Diego
and meet in person both my esteemed colleague
Lisa Sasevich and my own coach Jeffery Van Dyk.
I cannot wait to share with you all I learn while I am away so until I return,
I will simply leave you with this quote from one of my fav films Shawshank Redemption:
“Either get busy living or get busy dying”
I mean, I know you are busy, but doing what exactly?
Mull that over and I will check in with you next week…

What do I do? (
for you )
I know it is Friday but I a favour I am hoping you will take a minute help me.
A wee preface….
I am in the process of some deep person exploration and part of that work involves
clearly defining my mission or life purpose (
even more).
I have several ‘working copy statements’
but sometimes those who experience me are often in a better
(certainly more objective!) place to describe what it is I offer.
This is where you come in. :-)
If you could describe “the thing” you most consistently get from me -
whether through coaching, workshops, ezines or just conversations we have had,
I would love to know what you experience from me.
What shifts.
What changes.
What results.
To make it easy, all you have to do is pop over to this link to answer one question:
Voila!
You are done.
In gratitude for your words today,

If you are like me, it is easy at times to get caught up in
‘the not’.
What is ‘not’ done.
What is ‘not’ working.
The idea that is ‘not’ getting off the ground.
The product that is ‘not’ launched.
The level you have ‘not’ gone to.
The relationship that is ‘not’ fixed.
The dream that is ‘not’ realized.
And while considering what is ‘not’ can get us motivated
to DO something about it,
today I invite you to pause
and think of what IS
actually happening
and
actually good in your life.
Here is my coaches challenge for you today:
Make a list of 3 things that are working right now.
Next, write down 3 ways you can do more of that.
Then celebrate your focus! :-)

My coach and I have had a bit of a hiatus
and I realized today that it had been July since we spoke last.
Whoa.
In August I was busy playing, suntanning, cleansing and re-grouping
and then by September he had gone to Israel.
Which is why it took us two months for us to connect today.
And I have to say, it is good to be back on track.
Good because I have a new process that I am excited about.
Good because there was much serendipity in our connection.
And good because I feel so wildly, specifically and strongly supported.
Because coaching is personal.
We speak about absolutely everything.
My business. My life. My health. My struggles. My breakthroughs.
My big idea’s and what I am doing about them. My plan. My ego. My spirit.
You name it, we discuss it.
I know I have said this before but it bears repeating.
If you are serious about success, having a coach, in my humble opinion, is directly proportionate to the speed in which you get there.
Do you need a coach? Of course not.
But it helps. :-)
Because a good coach not only hears what you say and do, they also hear what you are NOT saying and doing. They provide a perspective that frankly, you cannot provide yourself.
It’s called objectivity! And accountability. And vision. And unabashed support.
So I hope if you are reading this you have an inspiring coach
or
someone in your life that sees you for who you really are
and is willing to tell you when you forget.
So to Jeffery Van Dyk,
I thank you for today and all the other days you have been holding the vision with me
and,
to you, my faithful and beautiful community of readers, I am holding the space for you
to claim all that you have intended, desired and hoped to be.
Happy (Canadian) Thanksgiving!
To your success,
Beth

This weekend I travelled to Victoria to celebration the life of Richard
my husband Ben’s young cousin who died recently.
Here is a photo of the balloons that the children
- including Richard’s two-year-old-
sent up to Richard.
And so I am in a reflective mood today.
I am not however going to tell you to
live for today
tell the people you love them why you do
or to dig out your bucket list.
Although they are all good things to do – death or not.
No instead today, I invite you to ask yourself one question:
“how do I cope with sadness?”
This is the quote I read on my desk calendar today:
“There is no difference between happiness and sadness,
except the content. They both will come,
they both will go. It is what we do with them
that makes the difference. “
Having the right tools, the right support and the right resources
for those times make all the difference to how we cope.
If you have something that works for you,
do share.
ps
I was having a wee bounce-back problem but I think it is fixed now
so if you have written back to me before, and thought “there is no point”
please try again. :-)
To your sad and happy moments,
b
